Affordable Maternity Outfits 8 weeks - 30 weeks

 Hello Ladies! 

A couple of people asked me where I get my "maternity clothes" and really.. I'm not a big fan of traditional maternity clothes. I find that a lot of it is unflattering and the stuff that is ok is WAY too expensive! So I compiled my outfits by week and will try to remember where I got everything and approximate prices. Top 5 Highlighters!

Here are some of my favorites highlighters I've used through the years!

Hard Candy Baked Blush in Honeymoon

I think this is suppose to be a blush. It is a really pale pink and really too light to be a regular blush, so I love using it as a highlighter. Very delicate and the shimmer isn't big and chunky! (you can use this wet or dry)

MAC Soft and Gentle Mineralize Skin Finish

This is probably the highlighter I use the most. It definitely has shimmer, so you need to blend well and use a light hand. The glow it gives is beautiful! I often use it in the inner corners of my eyes to brighten and widen too :)

MAC Petticoat Mineralize Skin Finish

This isn't like a traditional highlighter. It's a very warm golden pink and gives a beautiful glow to your cheeks. I like wearing it even under my blush, just so I look extra glowy. love it!

Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso

This is another "blush" that is lighter in color so I use it as a highlighter with my more coral blushes. since it has a peachy color it pairs perfectly with them.

Lioele Highlighter BB Cream

This is a BB cream that you can use all over your face for that dewy look,.. but I often just put it right above my cheekbones to look fresh and young! it fills my big pores too, so that always helps!

How to Deal with a Crazy Pregnant Woman!

I am totally aware and don't mind admitting that I am not the best pregnant woman.

I get moody, sensitive, sick and difficult.

Hey, realization and acceptance is the first step right? haha!!

So now being pregnant with #4, my husband and I have definitely learned some things along the way.

I have to say that each pregnancy has been equally difficult physically, but we have learned to approach it differently and it has gotten better.

Now pregnant with #4, our LAST, we are trying to enjoy it as much as we can.

At the end of the day life is good and we will receive a beautiful prize. It has definitely grown us and matured as a couple and a family, so I would'nt have it any other way!

We babble a bit, but hopefully this video is helpful to some of you...even if to just let you know you are not alone!!

So I know not everyone is into the beauty boxes and gets excited about makeup...so if you like jewelry and accessories, this is a great option for you!

The Trendy Box is a monthly subscription for $25/month. You can buy one month or more (I think the more you buy the cheaper it gets). 

It would be an awesome gift! (hint hint)

I was so excited to open the box and see what I got! I love accessories, and I definitely don't have a shortage...but I love the thought of getting accessories that I didn't pick. Makes it exciting AND you will probably get stuff you normally wouldn't pick, which for me is great. I love trying to styles, but sometimes I feel overwhelmed in the store and don't know what to pick!

Seriously, I have never felt my skin like this before! It feels all bouncy and smooth like newly moisturized baby skin...no joke.

First off. How cute is this package? I felt like a 'real housewife' taking the picture! haha! 

It looks like a real green apple, and smells like an actual green apple. Not green apple flavor.

The cream feels like a smooth moisturizer

To Use:

Apply to clean skin 

Dot onto face (the more you use, the better it will work...but longer it will take)

I just dot it onto my face and start massaging

as the cream dries it will start making 'eraser bit' like debris

Basically... the eraser bits are all your dead skin cells!!

once the cream is dry it will be harder to massage

rinse, tone and moisturize as normal

Target's FIRST subscription Beauty Box & Nails of the Day!

I received my first Target beauty box today. This is different than the FREE beauty bags they have given away in the past. This is more like the monthly subscription boxes...but this one is only $5! I wasn't sure if it was a one month trial type thing, but it looks like they might continue doing them! 

(If you haven't like "Target Style" on Facebook, that is where I get my info)

I have to say, since they had given away the beauty bags for free in the past... I was a little disappointed. I just assumed that since the beauty bags were free, and these were not... they would be a LOT better, Especially since Target is such a huge company, I thought they would hook us up!

Today's Tidbit: How to Stay Motivated

We all have those moments when we just aren't motivated. 

Something takes the wind out of our sails and we just feel discouraged.

Here are a couple of things I do to stay motivated...hope it helps!

*Remind yourself of your goals and your dreams 

*Know why you want to achieve them... what will the end result be?

*Encourage others in their goals and their dreams

*Be around other people that are motivators and dreamers

*Do something daily towards your goals, no matter how small

*Persistence. Don't give up!
